BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Emergency Management has cancelled the monthly test of the Boone County Warning Sirens. Ordinarily the test is conducted on the first Monday of the month, but this month that was Labor Day, so the test was moved back a week, weather permitting and it is not permitting today. The next test of the system will be Monday, October 5th at 1:00 p.m.
