A second forced fondling has been reported at a University of Iowa residence hall in the span of a week.
A news release from UI Public Safety indicates school officials received a report of fondling…which is a form of sexual assault…that recently occurred during the early morning hours at an east side residence hall. The assault was reported to be perpetrated by an acquaintance. The official UI crime log shows the incident happened at 2:25 a.m., but the specific residence hall is not identified.
Last week UIDPS said a forced fondling was reported at another east side residence hall shortly after the beginning of the fall semester. The UI crime log shows that incident happened at Currier Hall and was reported at 1:08 a.m. on September 2nd.
