Bird for Iowa Campaign Slams Willems’ Liberal Record in New Ad

Republican Attorney General Brenna Bird is out with a new ad highlighting her opponent Nate Willems’ dangerous voting record. Her campaign also continues to receive key support from law enforcement across the state.

“The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is the top law enforcement job in the state and it matters who sits in that office,” said Brenna Bird. “My opponent has a record of siding with dangerous, violent criminals, even sex offenders over everyday families. Iowans can’t afford to elect a dangerous liberal to the office of Attorney General.”

The ad is currently running on statewide TV as well as digital channels.

“Terrifying” Transcript:

Voiceover: A convicted child molester released from prison just disappears. Sounds terrifying? Not to Nate Williams.

Voiceover: Williams voted against mandatory monitoring for sex offenders after prison.

Voiceover: A convicted predator could be living in your neighborhood near your kids, and if Nate Williams had his way, no one would know.

Voiceover: Attorney General candidate Nate Williams. Too liberal to keep Iowa safe.

The ad will be on traditional and digital platforms.
