A record-breaking number of people attended the Iowa State Fair this year.
Four single day records were set, including first Sunday, first Monday, second Friday and second Saturday attendance.
Overall, nearly 1,219,000 people attended this year’s Fair, breaking the 2024 record of nearly $1,183,000.
Lainey Wilson broke the grandstand show attendance record, drawing a sold-out crowd of 17, 360. Despite Rod Stewart canceling his scheduled show, total grandstand attendance also broke a record.
