The City of Iowa City and Johnson County are receiving technical assistance from Dignity Best Practices to train the CommUnity mobile crisis team in field mediation. Organizers say the service will build upon responders’ skill sets to better handle conflict when serving their neighbors.
Dignity Best Practices will be visiting our community Wednesday and Thursday, injcluding at the North Liberty Public Library Wednesday night from 6-7 and at the Hills Community Center Thursday night at 7.
Attendees can learn about the field mediation work and how it may serve the community.
