Volunteers are needed for the annual Warm Winter Wear Distribution, co-sponsored by the Consultation of Religious Communities and the Iowa City Police Department.
The event will be hosted by the River Community Church on Muscatine Avenue in Iowa City from October 11th through the 17th. On Sunday the 11th through Tuesday the 13th, the site will accept donations of clothing and coat racks at the gym door. Volunteers will sort and display the donated items.
Wednesday through Friday October 14th -16th, volunteers will assist family members in selecting clothing items. Clean up is scheduled for Saturday the 17th.
