DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for 33 Iowa Counties, including Boone County, until 4:00 Tuesday morning. At this time, the biggest threats are widespread damaging winds with isolated gust to 85 mph likely. Also isolated large hail events will be possible with 1.5 inch diameter possible. A tornado or two may also be possible.
