DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released information concerning possible severe weather and dangerous heat conditions. The dangerous heat & humidity continues across the south today. Strong storms develop this evening and overnight, lasting into Wednesday. Damaging winds and heavy rain are the main concerns. For the heat: south central to southern Iowa today. For the storms: Most of Iowa will see storms overnight. Highest severe chances are in west-central Iowa tonight, and then south on Wednesday.
