Authorities are investigating a bomb threat at the Alburnett School District.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday, they received a report that a voicemail was left at the school district reporting the threat. The voicemail was a computer-generated voice and the origin of the call is unknown.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Fire Marshal are currently investigating the threat. The Sheriff’s Office says it also appears that similar threats have been made in other areas of the state and they’re looking at whether they’re related.
