It’s Day 6 of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest!
For three weeks (through October 16th) a little after 8 am, we’re calling a local farmer on their cell phone live on the radio during the KMCH Morning Show – and if they answer their phone by saying, “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch”, that’s exactly what we’ll do. We’ll deliver them lunch for four from one of our local participating restaurants right to their farm or field.
Congratulations to Mindy Walcher, farming just outside of Earlville – our winner of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest on Monday, October 5th! Eric Walker from KMCH and Jennifer Monk from Community Savings Bank delivered Mindy and her family lunch from Riverbend Pub & Grill in Manchester, along with some goodies from CSB and the Delaware County Pork Producers.
Farmers, you can sign up for the contest on kmch.com. We’ll deliver to any local farmer in the KMCH listening area in northeast Iowa (Delaware, Dubuque, Jones, Linn, Buchanan, Fayette and Clayton counties). You can sign up a farmer you know for the contest too – but let them know how the contest works so they can answer their phone correctly and win!
