Criminal charges have been filed against a protestor who disrupted Thursday night’s Turning Point USA event at the Iowa Memorial Union.

21-year-old Logan Westin is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts. He was dragged from the IMU main ballroom by police after shouting at one of the speakers, conservative activist Ben Shapiro, during a discussion on Isreal. Shapiro shouted back at Westin to “shut the f— up.”

If convicted on both counts, Westin faces up to 60 days in jail.
