BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Plan and Zoning Commission meets Monday morning in the Boone City Council Chambers and will handle some routine organizational matters, including welcoming new member David Byrd. Byrd fills the vacancy created with the departure of Monica Hanson.
Besides the organizational matters, the Commission will be reviewing and discussing a site plan for Edge Boone, L.L.C for a commercial business at 1920 Lakewood Drive. The site plan will be for a data storage center. The property, the Boone Business Park south of U.S. Highway 30, is already zoned for commercial purposes.
The Plan and Zoning Commission considers site plans and forwards recommendations to the City Council.
