DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released updated information concerning heavy rain and flooding. Persistent heavy rainfall could lead to river flooding, along with areal and flash flooding across central Iowa now through Thursday night. The heaviest rain is expected Wednesday night.
