A vehicle fire and ensuing vegetation fire tied up traffic on Interstate 80 near Oxford Saturday morning.
Oxford firefighters were called to the car fire on westbound I-80 between Tiffin and Oxford just before 9:45 a.m. The fire spread to nearby dry vegetation, and Tiffin firefighters were soon called in to assist.
Iowa DOT cameras show the fire slowed down traffic on westbound I-80 for about a half-hour until it was extinguished.
