BOONE, Iowa—“Back and Better Than Ever” is the theme being used as the Ledges State Park was reopened last week to visitors. To mark the occasion Naturalist Mikayla held a couple programs and a ribbon cutting on Saturday. In addition to the roadway and parking lot resurfacing, Mikayla highlighted renovation work to both shelters, trail improvements, and upcoming events that make Ledges better.
