BOONE, Iowa—Due to rain at the end of August, Boone Public Works and WHKS Engineering are extending the time frame for smoke testing the city’s sanitary sewer system. The smoke testing is being done to try and locate additional sources for storm water in the sewer system. A map of the area has been released and is attached to this press release.
