BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Police Department is once again reminding residents to plan ahead for traffic congestion next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Farm Progress Show will be underway. According to the Boone Police Department the event draws over 100,000 visitors from around the world which means that traffic on Hwy 30 will be HEAVY all three days.
Traffic will be heaviest in the evenings from 3:00 pm. – 7:00 pm. Because of the heavy east – west traffic, citizens who normally use Snedden Dr. and Quill Ave or SE Marshall and Crown Flair interchanges at Hwy 30, are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to use an alternate route duringthese three days.
