Iowa City Animal Services are investigating a dog bite that occurred over the weekend.
The bite occurred around 7 a.m., Sunday at Willow Creek Park on Teg Drive. The victim reported being bit while walking past a man jogging with a leashed dog. The dog is described as a large, brown dog with curly fur. The man is described as a dark-haired white man in their late 20s to early 30s.
Iowa City Animal Services is seeking information on the rabies vaccination status of the dog. If anyone has any information or encounters the dog, they are encouraged to contact Iowa City Animal Services directly at 319-356-5295 or the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-6800.
