An Iowa City woman was taken into custody over the weekend after allegedly harassing another woman.
Sunday at approximately 5pm, 38-year-old Shannon Marquez of the Hilltop Mobile Home Community on Waterfront Drive walked into the victim’s Western Hills Mobile Estates trailer and recorded the woman and her baby on her cellphone.
Marquez had received a previous harassment warning on April 4th. The victim was reportedly alarmed and annoyed by Marquez’ actions.
Marquez has two previous harassment convictions in the past ten years. She was charged with 2nd degree harassment and could be sentenced to up to a year in jail if convicted. A no contact order was requested between the parties.
