One person was injured in a crash in Jones County on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened southeast of Cascade on County Road D61 shortly after 2 pm. The Iowa State Patrol says a motorcycle was eastbound when it entered the shoulder of the road and lost control.
The driver, 68-year old Chester Lee Sutton of Maquoketa, was ejected, with both Sutton and the motorcycle coming to rest in the south ditch.
Sutton was injured and transported to MercyOne Hospital.
The Jones County Sheriff’s Office, Cascade Fire and EMS, Iowa State Patrol and Koobs Towing assisted at the scene.
