You will have to adjust your speed soon while traveling a busy stretch of Highway 20 west of Dubuque. According to a report in the Telegraph Herald, the Iowa Department of Transportation will adjust the speed limits in the area where a number of recent improvements have been made.
Officials plan to increase the speed limit to 65 mph on westbound U.S. 20 just west of Old Highway Road, and drivers heading east can continue driving 65 mph until they are past the Southwest Arterial. The new speed limit will not go into effect until the signs are changed.
