A free, two-day dental clinic will be held on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14.
The free clinic, sponsored by Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM), will start at 6 a.m. both days, and services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will remain open until the clinic reaches capacity each day, IMOM said in a statement.
IMOM’s team of dental professionals and volunteers will offer a range of services for patients of all ages, including cleanings, root canals, extractions and fillings. However, they will be unable to provide wisdom-teeth extractions, crowns, full dentures or implants.
Childcare will be available, and attendees should bring a list of any medications they are currently taking. To learn more, visit the IMOM website.
