Monday
From 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, the Workspace is hosting another Paint Your Own Pottery week with a ramen bowl-themed event. After students finish painting their bowl, packaged Maruchan ramen will be provided. Prices vary depending on the bowl selected.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Christian Peterson Art Museum, an exhibition will be held by the University Museums for free. The exhibition will highlight Danish-American artist Christian Peterson and showcase the Terracotta designs around campus and how science helps preserve the works.
From noon to 4 p.m. at the Farm House Museum, an event hosted by University Museums will be held to continue to celebrate 250 years of American history. At the event, mentions of George Washington Carver and early memories of Iowa State will be presented.
Tuesday
From noon to 5 p.m., an engineering career fair with over 100 employers will be held at the Scheman Building and Hilton Coliseum.
Starting at 4 p.m. in Carver Hall, magician Randy Goodman will take the stage. Goodman, who has performed at MGM Grand and Caesars Palace, will perform for an hour and reveal how he does his tricks after the performance.
Wednesday
From 4 to 7 p.m. at the Student Innovation Center, a free repair shop will be held for students. Ranging from computers to clothing items and more, university partners and student organizations will combine to help fix broken items.
Starting at 8 p.m. in the Maintenance Shop, stand-up improv comedy group Grandma Mojo’s will take the stage. The entrance fee is $1.
Taking place from noon to 5 p.m., the Business, Industry and Technology Career Fair will take place at Hilton Coliseum. 173 employers from different areas of interest are attending, and students of all majors can attend.
Thursday
From 7 to 8 p.m. in the Gold Room in the Memorial Union, students are invited to play various board games and develop new connections.
Starting at 8 p.m. in the Maintenance Shop, blues band Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames will perform. Tickets are $12 for students and $16 for general admission, and beer and spirits will be available for purchase.
Friday
At 8 p.m. at the North Campanile Lawn, an outdoor showing of “Supergirl” will be held. It is free and will be moved to Carver 101 in case of inclement weather.
At 5 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium, six Iowa State athletes will officially be inducted into the Cyclone Hall of Fame. A social event, dinner and ceremony will be a part of the celebration. Tickets are $50 and available for purchase.
Saturday
After a dominant showing against Bowling Green, the Iowa State Cyclones will look to keep that momentum rolling as they take on the No. 17 Utah Utes for their conference play opener.
Sunday
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 55th annual Octagon Art Festival will be held at Kellogg Avenue and Main Street. Arts, entertainment and food will be available for festival-goers.
