A Greeley home was destroyed by fire overnight. Fire crews were called around midnight last night to a house fire at 209 North Front Street in Greeley, the home owned by Calvin Ingels. Responders discovered a fully engulfed home. Reinforcements from Edgewood and Delaware, along with emergency medical responders from Manchester and Earlville were on the scene. The four members of the Ingels family were evacuated and received treatment for unknown injuries. Their statuses are not known at the time of this report. The house is considered a total loss. Greeley Fire Chief Waylon Fry has said the state fire marshal’s office has been contacted to assist in the investigation. Delaware County Emergency Management and the Red Cross have reached out to the Ingles family, along with the neighboring family at 205 North Front Street, owned by Eric and Marcy Walker, whose home also sustained damage as a result of the fire.
