Marty Ray Miller, 59, of Perry passed away Sept.13, 2026, at the UnityPoint Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Marty was born March 1, 1967, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Wendell and Dora (Bergman) Miller.
Marty proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He entered the Navy on March 26, 1991, and was honorably discharged on March 22, 1993, in Norfolk, Virginia, due to an injury.
Marty is survived by his two brothers, Mike Miller of Manning and Allen Miller of Bagley; nieces and nephews, Samantha (Bryan) Boisen of West Des Moines, Jennifer (Austin) Irlbeck of Templeton, Jason (Yvonne) Miller of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Shawn Miller of Elko, Nevada; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Dora Miller; and his sister-in-law, Denise Miller.
Marty has been cremated, and no services are planned.
