It’s Day 4 of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest!
For three weeks (through October 16th) a little after 8 am, we’re calling a local farmer on their cell phone live on the radio during the KMCH Morning Show – and if they answer their phone by saying, “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch”, that’s exactly what we’ll do. We’ll deliver them lunch for four from one of our local participating restaurants right to their farm or field.
Congratulations to Russ Reth, farming southwest of Manchester – our winner of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest on Thursday, October 1st! Janelle Tucker from KMCH and Crystal Salow & Laura Meyer from Community Savings Bank delivered Russ and his family lunch from Fat Chef’s Catering/Nick’s Family Grocery in Winthrop, along with some goodies from CSB and the Delaware County Pork Producers.
Farmers, you can sign up for the contest on kmch.com. We’ll deliver to any local farmer in the KMCH listening area in northeast Iowa (Delaware, Dubuque, Jones, Linn, Buchanan, Fayette and Clayton counties). You can sign up a farmer you know for the contest too – but let them know how the contest works so they can answer their phone correctly and win!
