In the week ending Sept. 19, one gas station in Jasper County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $5.70 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Diesel gas prices averaged $6.14 per gallon in Jasper County.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at 16 of the 32 reported gas stations in Jasper County.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in Iowa was $6.15, up from the previous week.
Fuel prices climbed sharply in spring 2026 as tensions in the Middle East disrupted global oil shipments and refinery outages tightened gasoline supplies in parts of the United States.
