The community will be walking to end Alzheimer’s in Manchester on Saturday.
Wanda Hillers says they’re heading into this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s with a lot of support.
Saturday’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place at Edward Jones at 204 South 12th Street in Manchester. Cheri Orcutt says registration begins at 8:15 am, with the ceremony starting at 8:45 am.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s begins at 9 am. You can choose from a one- or two-mile option – or you don’t have to walk at all.
All the funds raised at the event will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
Colorful pinwheel flowers will fill the event grounds at Saturday’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, with participants welcome to write their loved one’s name on a flower and take it home.
