The City of Hills has scheduled two informational sessions to inform residents about a bond for a new fire station and city hall.
The city is proposing a new municipal building that would include a new fire station and city office that would be paid for with a $5.1 million general obligation bond that will be on the November 3rd ballot.
The first meeting will be Wednesday night at the Hills fire station. The evening will begin with a presentation at 6:30 covering the proposed project and the bond that will appear on the November ballot.
Following the presentation, there will be a walk-through of the current fire station and city office buildings, giving residents an opportunity to see the current buildings and conditions firsthand and learn more about the needs behind the proposed project.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and get more information about the proposed project, the current facilities, and the bond.
A second such session is set for Wednesday, October 14th, also at 6:30 p.m. at the Hills fire station.
