A Hope House resident who failed to return to the facility was arrested last week.
According to the Department of Correctional Services, 40-year-old Joshua Hines signed out to his place of employment the morning of July 19th, with a listed return time of 3:15pm. Hines failed to return, and the next morning a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Court records indicate Hines was arrested on July 27th. At his initial appearance, bond was set at $2000 and he will be arraigned at a later date. If convicted on the Escape From Custody charge, he could be sentenced to up to a year in jail.
