The Delaware County Fair Society is seeking applicants interested in serving on the Fair Board of Directors as part of the upcoming election cycle.
Fair Board members must be 18 years of age or older and reside in Delaware County. Those elected will serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.
Serving on the Fair Board is an opportunity to play an important role in shaping the future of the Delaware County Fair. Board members help plan and organize the annual fair, as well as events and activities held throughout the off-season. From entertainment and attractions to community events and fair improvements, board members have a voice in the decisions that help make the fair a success.
The Fair Board is looking for great volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves, bring new ideas to the table and help drive positive change. Applicants should be willing to work as part of a team, offer thoughtful and constructive advice, and have a genuine interest in making the Delaware County Fair and its events even better for the community.
“We’re looking for people who want to get involved and help shape the future of the fair,” said Jeannie Domeyer, Manager of the Fair. “You don’t have to have all the answers. We’re looking for people with good ideas, a positive attitude, a willingness to volunteer and a desire to make a difference.”
Applications are due next Tuesday, August 25th at 5 pm.
