United Fiber residential customers can soon take advantage of Bedford’s Smart Town designation through United Fiber.
Smart Town is free, secure Wi-Fi service throughout Bedford available for United Fiber residential customers only. Blast routers are being installed throughout town to offer free internet access for customers and will be accessible very soon. There will be two blast routers downtown and there will also be blast routers at the baseball/softball fields and the football field, that is coming later this summer. United Fiber will send an email out with instructions on how to access the Smart Town Wi-Fi when it is ready to go.
Weston, Missouri is also a Smart Town, and equipment to set Maryville up as a Smart Town is in the works. Customers will be able to access Wi-Fi in those communities as well. United Fiber is also working in other communities as well.
