BOONE, Iowa—The holiday weekend, and the anticipated snow fall has led Boone Public Works to make the following announcement about snow removal
In anticipation of the possible upcoming snow
event, Public Works would like you to know:
Although there will be no snow ordinance or
ticket and tow in the residential areas during this
upcoming holiday weekend, we request vehicles
still be moved from the streets during this snow
event. Downtown and West Boone Business
districts snow ordinances will be in effect if
needed and the public will be notified.
This will allow city crews to clear streets in a
timely manner.
