Southwestern Community College is hosting the 2024 Division II Men’s Basketball Region 11 Tournament from Friday, March 1, through Sunday, March 3, in Southwestern’s Student Center gymnasium.
Nine teams from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference will be competing for the regional title. Games will take place at the following times: Play-in game, Friday, 7 p.m.; quarterfinals, Saturday, 1, 3, 5, and 7 p.m.; and semifinals, Sunday, 5 and 7 p.m.
The championship game will be held on Thursday, March 7, at the higher seed.
Pending the outcome of Wednesday’s games, Southwestern is currently sixth in the ICCAC standings and would play the No. 3 seeded team at 3 p.m. Saturday in the quarterfinals. The winner of that game is slated for the 5 p.m. game Sunday against the No. 2 or No. 7 seed in the semifinals.
Concessions will be available. The cost to attend will be $15 per person per day.
