The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Cedar Rapids Police are investigating an officer-related shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened near the intersection of Oakland Road and H Avenue NE at approximately 3:05 pm. Few details have been released, but one individual was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. No officers were injured.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is the lead on the investigation and will provide updates when possible.
