Ed-Co Volleyball Donates to RMC Radiology

The Edgewood-Colesburg volleyball team recently presented a $15,000 donation to the Regional Medical Center (RMC) Radiology department at their 2026 “Pink Night” volleyball game.

This gift brings the team’s overall fundraising impact to $122,790, reflecting their deep-rooted commitment to supporting local women in their fight against breast cancer. Throughout the year, the Ed-Co volleyball team passionately raises funds by hosting their annual “Pink Night” volleyball game and dedicating a day at the Edgewood Rodeo with a “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night.

The $15,000 donation will directly support the RMC Radiology department’s “Pink Support Bag” fund. These bags are assembled by the RMC Radiology team and are filled with comfort items and gift cards. They are gifted to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to support and comfort them as they begin their cancer journey.

“On behalf of Regional Medical Center, our radiology team, and the patients we serve, we are deeply grateful for the continued generosity of the Ed-Co volleyball team and community,” said Megan Demmer, RMC Radiology Manager. “These support bags mean so much to the women receiving them and we are so grateful we get to continue providing this essential comfort and meaningful reminder that no one fights alone.”
