A Waukee man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly sexually abusing a 4-year-old.
Taylor Michael Kammerer, 27, of 955 Eighth St., Waukee, was charged with second-degree sexual abuse, sexual abuse-continuous sexual abuse of a child, lascivious acts with a child, indecent contact with a child and two counts of child endangerment.
According to court records, the alleged abuse “was disclosed during a forensic interview” after it was reported June 1 to the Waukee Police Department.
Kammerer allegedly “did sexually abuse the child more than three times over the course of longer than 30 days,” according to court records.
The interview also revealed that a “3-year-old child witnessed the sexual assault of the 4-year-old,” according to court records.
Kammerer is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $150,000 cash-only bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 24 in Dallas County District Court.
