LifeServce Blood Center announces six September blood drives

DES MOINES, Iowa — Blood donations tend to drop during the summer months, but cancer patients, trauma victims, organ transplant recipients and so many more Americans still rely on lifesaving blood transfusions every day. Contact the LifeServe Blood Center to schedule a donation in September.

  • Woodward-Granger High School on Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodward-Granger High School, 306 W. Third St., Woodward
  • Mission Cancer and Blood-Waukee on Sept. 8 from 8-11 0 a.m. at the Mission Cancer and Blood, 2565 S.E. Encompass Dr., Waukee
  • Absolute Group on Sept. 10 from 2-6 p.m. at the Absolute Group, 1800 Burr Oak Blvd., Granger
  • Perry Community on Sept. 18 from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Dallas County Hospital, 610 10th St., Perry
  • Adel Community on Sept. 19 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Adel Masonic Lodge 0, 411 S. 12th St., Adel
  • Iowa Clinic on Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Iowa Clinic, 5950 University Ave., West Des Moines

Your donation will benefit local hospital patients. Generous blood donors directly impact their neighbors in local hospitals, because LifeServe is the sole provider of blood to the medical centers in this area.
