A traffic stop led to OWI charges against an Indiana man.
31-year-old Seth Bratton of Brownsburg was arrested Sunday evening after a state trooper heading northbound on I380 at a high rate of speed. He paced Bratton’s vehicle and determined that he was going 100 miles per hour in a 65-mile-per-hour construction zone.
The trooper activated emergency lights and siren, but Bratton reportedly failed to stop. He eventually pulled over, and the odor ingested alcohol was allegedly discovered.
Bratton denied drinking alcohol, but during field tests he showed signs of impairment including bloodshot watery eyes. He refused a PBT and Datamaster.
Bratton faces a charge of OWI first offense, a serious misdemeanor. He posted bond Monday and was released ahead of future court dates.
