With Labor Day weekend on the way, E. Coli levels remain high at one Coralville Lake beach.
A weekly check conducted on Tuesday indicates E.Coli levels at Sugar Bottom Campground beach remain elevated, and swimming is not recommended.
Previous testing on August 19th showed similar results at the same beach, with elevated E. Coli levels also recorded at West Overlook Day Use beach and near the Mehaffey Bridge boat ramp.
One more round of testing is scheduled for the coming week ahead of Labor Day weekend.
