Brenda Tyrrell, Prevention Specialist with Community and Family Resources, visits about training programs CFR has available to community members. She said a recent program about recognizing addictions was well received and plans are to conduct more of those every few months. She talked about the upcoming Overdose Awareness Day in Ames on August 29th which is available to anyone. She also talked about Brandy Strawn, PMHNP, joining the team. She is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
