The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Tiffin woman they say was driving a lawn mower through a convenience store parking lot while intoxicated.
Just before 7:00 Friday night 36-year-old Michelle Hudson of Roberts Ferry Road was called in as a subject who was driving a lawn mower while appearing intoxicated. Arriving deputies found Hudson driving the vehicle in the parking lot of the Casey’s on Stephans Street. Hudson reportedly showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Her breath alcohol level was below the legal limit for driving, but the arresting officer believed she was under the influence of drugs. Hudson is also barred from driving.
Hudson is charged with Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense and Driving While Barred. If convicted on both counts, she faces a maximum of four years in jail.
