The final phase of a maintenance project at the Iowa City Municipal Airport will close one of the facility’s two active runways starting on Monday.
Runway 12/30 is scheduled to be closed from Monday to Wednesday, August 5th to rout and seal the runway joints and do some minor pavement patching.
The project began earlier this month, with work already completed on runway 7/25. That runway will remain open while work on the other runway is wrapping up.
Pilots are reminded to use their NOTAMs for the latest runway status.
