

BOONE, Iowa—The Weekly Drought Monitor Map shows a change in Abnormally Dry conditions in the state to an increase in Moderate Drought. The affected area is the West Central part of the state. The change considers weather conditions to last weekend. Already this week, additional rainfall has been reported through the areas with moderate drought.
Locally, Boone County remains drought free.
