A Coggon business was damaged in a fire on Thursday morning.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says fire departments were called to Novak Fencing at 200 Railroad Street shortly before 9:30 am.
No one was inside the building at the time and no injuries were reported. The building sustained some structural damage and some of the business contents were damaged.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cause of the fire is believed to be a battery charger.
