Campgrounds in Delaware County are preparing for winter.
Delaware County Conservation says this week is the last chance for campers to enjoy water service at Bailey’s Ford Campground, including the showerhouse and dump station. The water will be shut off for the season next Monday, October 27th.
Water is already turned off at Twin Bridges, Coffins Grove, and Turtle Creek. Delaware County Conservation says they’ve dropped the price for A sites at those campgrounds, which are now just $20 per night.
Electricity will stay on at all campgrounds until further notice.
You can still camp year-round at Delaware County’s campgrounds on a walk-in basis, but Conservation says you’ll need to be self-sufficient as there will be no water or electricity available.
