On Wednesday, the Zach Lahn campaign released its new ad, “13 Million.” The ad says that Rob Sand has taken $13 million from a “chemical behemoth that has been polluting (Iowa) for years.”
“Sand’s biggest donor makes the nitrate fertilizer that is poisoning Iowa’s rivers and drinking water. Iowans deserve to know whether that money is buying silence. If Rob Sand is willing to look the other way while this company dumps ammonia, nitrogen and e. coli into our rivers and streams, then he has no business being governor,” said Communications Director Dan Capodilupo.
