Maquoketa Valley is celebrating Homecoming this week.
The 2026 Homecoming Court includes Dalton Africa, Eli Dougherty, Kyle Engelken and Gabe Halweg, along with Haydin Flannagan, Alaina Mead, Camryn Paris and Ella Reicher.
Due to the projected forecast for Friday, the football game start time will be moved up to 5:30 pm. The King & Queen crowning will now take place at 5:15 pm in front of the football grandstands.
Maquoketa Valley says they are continuing to closely monitor the weather and will make a decision regarding the Homecoming Parade by Thursday night.
