Officials said the release of a settlement will “expressly deny any wrongdoing on the part of the district, and the district’s administration, coaches, and staff.”

A trial was scheduled to begin on November 11. In all, three lawsuits were filed against the district and current and now-former athletic officials. Two other lawsuits are still pending.
