Dawn Arlene Sylvester, age 77, of Mesa, Arizona passed peacefully on Oct. 15, 2024 at Mesa Hospice of the Valley.
Dawn was born in Charles City, Iowa on Jan. 1, 1947 to Keith and Marietta (Bradley) Sylvester. She graduated from Charles City Community High School in 1965 and attended Mankato Commercial College for secretarial training. She worked at Syracuse University, General Electric in Ohio, and most recently Gallagher & Kennedy, a Phoenix law firm.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her time spent in the Arizona mountains.
Dawn is survived by husband Charles Nardin, two sons Eric (Gail) Newton and Thomas (April) Newton, grandson Westin Newton and sister Joy O’Bresky.
Inurnment will be held on May 16, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.
